The R&D Division creates new technology for the Public Safety community. has already developed a working relationship with the NIJ National Law Enforcement & Corrections Technology Center (NLECTC) system. It also has already begun initiatives to collaborate with other universities, federal labs, and research organ-izations. Finally, has already launched initial R&D projects designed to deliver technical support to the other SWTC divisions.
